Subject Backstory: Agnes, the Iron-Horn of Takhisis

Agnes was born in the storm-scarred port city of Mithas, raised among the harsh discipline and brutal honor of minotaur society. From the moment she could walk, she was taught that strength defines worth and weakness deserves only the axe. Where others learned restraint, Agnes learned hunger: hunger for victory, for dominance, for the fear in her enemies eyes. Her father was a decorated arena champion, her mother a war priestess of Sargonnas, but Agnes was drawn to a darker calling. Under the pale of night, while others praised the minotaur god of vengeance, she felt a whisper not of rage but of power. The cold breath of Takhisis slipped into her dreams, promising glory beyond the arenas and seas dominion over all who knelt before the Five-Headed Dragon. When Agnes earned her first scars in the arena, the crowd roared for blood. She gave it gladly. Each victory fed her rising reputation, but more importantly, it deepened her connection to the Queen of Darkness. Eventually, even her parents came to fear the intensity in her eyes the fanatical devotion that eclipsed their own beliefs. Some said she loved battle a little too much that her joy lay not in honor, but in the kill. In a decisive trial of combat, she defeated a rival commanders son a forbidden challenge. Instead of execution, Takhisis sent her a sign: a vision of conquest across Ansalon, where the weak would break beneath her hooves. Agnes fled her homeland, choosing divine purpose over mortal command. Now she marches as a chosen blade of the Dark Queen seeking warbands to lead, kingdoms to shatter, and dragons to serve. Her name spreads like thunder before a storm: proof that Takhisis does not just rule shadowed lands she shapes monsters worthy of her throne. Agnes lives for the coming war. And when Takhisis calls, her greataxe will answer first.
