Subject a Disguise

The halls of Hybardin were a tough place to grow up as an urchin
Scrouging for food through the garbage heaps, is not how I would have liked
to spend my early days. Many beatings I took from the hands of the larger
homeless dwarves. Quickly I learned how to run quickly and hide. Soon after
that I learned to disguise myself and I walked among the shadows. Digging
through a pile of garbage one night, I came across a dagger, taking I slunk
back towards my hole. I spent hours sharpening the dagger and I began to
carry it all the time. I kept it hidden beneth my robe. The first time I put
it to use I had come up behind a larger dwarf who had tormented me before,
and slid the dagger between his ribs. I dragged him into the shadows and
stripped his corpse of everything, covering my clothes with his I took over
his appereance and for awhile I was able to fool those near by. They thought
I was he. For once in my life I felt power. And so I learened the powers
that disguising myself could bring. I continued along this path for many
years, and as time went on I began to gather a followering, of othe
miscreants. Soon my gang was the strongest and most feared among the halls.
We went beyond preying upon those like us, we began to prey upon the richer
folks and the well respected people. We begun with just robbing them. The
kidnapping and ransoming them. Slowly we began to murder them and anyone who
stood against us. As our fear grew we became more violent and more obvious.
We made bodies just dissapear. Slowly I began to realize that if I stayed
here my power would be limited. So I decided to strike out into the world,
and find some other degenerates with whom I could turn into my killing band.
