Astinus gently places a metal bound tome encrusted with jewels on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Echor' scribed in burnt brown ink.

The shadows of dusk washed over the plains surrounding Kern as Echor stared out beyond the light of the small campfire nearby. His travels had brought him away from the rest of his brethren, towards a goal which only he pursued. The others did not share his vision, one that he had foreseen in a dream only a few months ago, yet he saw fit to gather his things and embark upon the journey alone. He had always felt a high regard for the Lord of Death, for what reason he was not always certain, but the dream had brought to full fruition his intentions of following his desires. Tightening his grip about the handle of his axe, he smiled as he felt the familiar texture of the elven leather wrapped about the ironwood handle. The night passed uneventfully and gathering his things, Echor moved on towards Nordmaar to find a port where he could find passage on a ship. The rugged land should prove to be of no concern to the journey, given good weather and his size a few days travel and he should be within sight of his destination...
