The Great Library of Palanthas

An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Ehre.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a metal bound tome on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Ehre' scribed in earth-colored orange ink.

Author: Ehre
Date: Thu Sep 25 02:42:35 2014
Subject My Background

Ehre uth Freiheit was born of a relatively poor, land holding knight, Arbe uth Freiheit. Arbe sought only to raise enough money to fulfil his duties as a Solamnic Knight and provide the same opportunity for his son. While very young, Ehre remembered walking with his father through their lands, offering aid and advice to the peasantry who hailed their lords as kind and selfless. His mother raised him with tales of Vinas Solamnus, Huma and the gods of good, taking care to ensure that Ehre learned the values of honor, courage and sacrifice. She joking said that Ehre's first words were "Est Sularus oth Mithas," My honor is my life. At six Ehre was sent as a page to a neighboring knight's keep. While paged their, he excelled physically and gained the respect of nearly all for his good behavior. He gained the respect of his lord by honorably and humbly besting all three of his lord's sons. He gained the respect of his lord's children by witfully helping them out of tricky situations without letting anyone know of their less than "knightly" acts. He is now of age and has been sponsored to become squired to a patron knight.
