Author: Marus
Date: Sun Apr 12 20:11:48 2009
Subject The Prince Returns.

Marus stands atop a hill, looking out at the fortress of Pax Tharkas. He
was almost home. He had left quite some time ago on a quest, a quest that he
took alongside two of his friends. A quest to find the Lost Gods. The quest
of course was a failure, and left both Roeis and Keonthalas dead and Marus
without an eye. It was a somber return, but still he was happy to be so
close to home. Things had changed since he left..He had changed. Two of his
friends had died and he couldnt do anything about it. Their quest led them
all across Ansalon. From the Jungles of Nordmaar to the frigid cold of
Icewall. He sighs and pulls the hood of his robe up over his head. He still
had a ways to go before he would be home. He wondered what changed there. It
had been five years or more since he had left. Thats a long time to be gone
for anyone, much less a Prince. He starts to make his way down the hill and
toward Pax Tharkas. He wondered how he would be taken when he got home, with
respect or hatred. He sighs again and lets his thoughts drift off as he
continues his walk home.
