The room is incredibly messy. There are papers strewn about the floor, stacks of books that are leaning over, some left open an filled with both arcane runes and scribbled paraphanalia. There seem to be pages torn out of some of these books. There are various trinkets, bottles both opened and closed filled with varying substances, and a few extremely expensive magical artifacts that seem to have just been tossed to the side. In the middle of this mess sits a desk. At that desk sits an elf. An elf who is agitated and looks as though he has probably been up for days. An elf that scribbles frantically at odd intervals shakes his head, mutters to himself and throws parchment to the floor. He shudders and moans slightly and then puts his head down on the desk, his sides still shaking. "Master?" Silence. "Master? I've brought you your dinner." Silence. The human entered the room quickly and softly and laid the tray down on the desk. He left the room and shut the door. "He's been crying again. I don't think he's slept in a week." The other servants were standing just outside the door. They exchanged worried looks. "What are we going to do?" The first servant shook his head. "It's only getting worse. It's been almost three months now. I'm not sure what he's going to do." More quietly he said, "I'm not sure what we're going to do." "Perhaps it's time we cal-" A hand signal cut off the sentence. "No. He has no love for his father and may be more distraught himself." A cold look passed over the first servant's face. "We'll just continue to keep an eye on him."
