Author: Shiv Date: Sun Dec 2 20:14:30 2007 Subject Outsider. (Background) It's been many moons since me kin're hearin from the likes o' meself. They taked me from the mountain we call home at a young age, a shady group most ain't fer hearin about, and denyin what they do be hearin just the same. A small gatherin of our kind that received trainin from the forest folk, Ol Treebeard Hisself handed down such knowledge about those from other planes breakin out of the deepest parts of the Abyss to be wreakin misery among the mortal races of Ansalon. They choosed a few from all of the races, Outsiders to hunt down the outsiders... Trained in the ways of nature, given a blessing by both Zivilyn and Reorx alike, our gathering grows smaller, less are so willing to associate with the likes o' us... Ive seen generations come and go, and it be time to show the rest o' me kin that demons are a very real threat... From the deepest bowels of Thorbardin on to hidden gates and tears in the very existence of our reality, they come...They bring with them a terrible hunger... Ye wont be findin me much different than any o the rest of ya. Im a dwarf to me bones, hard as the stone of our home. I bring a different way of fightin them enemies that plague us, Im a demon hunter. A Hell Ranger, most everyone just calls us Outsiders, much like them demons we hunt.
