The Great Library of Palanthas

An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Vordul.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap is at 65. You change? Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a metal bound tome encrusted with jewels on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Vordul' scribed in dark red ink.

Word had reached Vordul that a rather obnoxious kender merchant
had been ripping off the good common folk of Palanthas, and was
also guilty of generally being a bastard. Being the good-natured
prankster that he is, Vordul devised a scheme to finagle a small
sum of money from the merchant and also perhaps provoke some
conflict
and bloodshed - the two main sources of Vordul's entertainment.
Through the proper channels he made it known that he had an item
of some value available for cheap, feigning cluelessness as to
its
worth and knowing that the kender's greed would get the better of
him.
Vordul asked for a bank transfer of the gold to a discrete
account and
never delivered the item promised - thus incurring the impotent
wrath of
the little kender, who immediately posted a bounty on Vordul's
head.

Knowing that the kender was too cowardly to come after him
personally,
Vordul now waits for his entertainment to begin.
