Bunk beds line the walls of this room, and chests and wardrobes rest beside them. The room is empty of all life, save for a cat and her kittens resting by the hearth. The room is neatly made up, and all of the bunks are freshly made with clean linen. The room smells of polish and soap, and you are reminded of your mother's bedroom at home. ~ 0 C 0 H 105 M 105 D2 The doorway to the south leads into the Servant's Hall. ~ ~ 0 0 20930 S #20932 Servant's Hallway~ This section of the hallway is relatively quiet, with only occasional servants passing you, bearing platters and flagons toward the dining hall, where the marriage celebration is in full swing. Every around you, half carved cooking implements, and cookbooks are scattered acroos the room. There is no one here but a large white dog that raises its head as you enter and happily wags its tail. ~ 0 CD 0 H 95 M 95 D2 The doorway to the south leads into the the Servant's Hallway. ~ ~ 1 0 20932 S #20934 Servant's Hallway~ You have reached the end of Servant's Hallway. The hall here is extremely busy as servant's hurry from the kitchen to the storerooms to the main hall with dishes and flagons and towels. Against the back walls the wine racks rest, and other types of alcohol. Dishes and pots and pans all are stored here, as well, and an impressive variety of utensils. Servants hurry in and out of this room, gathering supplies necessary for the festivities. ~ 0 AD 0 H 75 M 75 D3 The doorway enters into the Servant's Hallway. ~ ~ 0 0 20934 S #20936 Kitchen~ The kitchen is a madhouse of activity, due to the wedding festivities that are taking place. Servants are running madly about, organizing platters, filling flagons with mead, wine, beer and water, and carrying food out and empty plates in. There are cats weaving in and out of the tables and legs, snatching bites of food whereever they can find them. ~ 0 CD 0 H 75 M 75 D1 The insanity of the kitchen continues to the east. ~ ~ 0 0 20937 D2 The archway to the south leads a slightly greasy trail into Servant's Hallway. ~ ~ 0 0 20934 S #20937 Kitchen~ The kitchen here is dedicated to several large tables, filled with food and serving utensils. Everywhere, lamplight shines of the mellowness of gold trimming and jeweled fittings. The white marble floor has been buffed to an incredibly high shine, and the walls are hidden behind the rich hangings from all around the world. King Arthur, and his new Queen, Guenhuevere, sit on their golden thrones, watching over the festivities of the wedding feast. ~ 0 CD 0 H 75 M 75 E banner~ The castle is only part of the world. Flagons off mead are passed freely as the knights of the Round Table celebrate their king's marriage. You look around and see many famous (and imfamous) faces... Mordred, the king's nephew (or is he?) , Perces, Pellinore, Tristan, and many others. To the east lies a drinking room, where the men can retire once the dinner is done. ~ 0 CD 0 H 85 M 85 D1 You look into the room to the east and see several comfortable couches and a few end tables. ~ ~ 0 0 20947 D2 Queen's Hall, the jewel of Camelot, lies to the south. ~ ~ 0 0 20945 S #20947 Drinking Lounge~ This drinking lounge is filled with comfortable chairs (most of which are in very poor condition, possibly due to men sitting on them while wearing sharp implements). The walls are lined with shelves, full of all sorts of alcohol and liquor. The floor is hardwood, with a few rugs thrown over it to relieve the boredom. The floor, carpets and furniture are all covered with burn marks. ~ 0 D 0 H 85 M 85 D3 The archway to the west leads into a dining hall filled with drinking men. ~ ~ 0 0 20946 S #20948 King's Hall~ You have entered King's Hall, truly the crown of the castle. The first thing that draws your eyes is the huge bedstand, easily big enough for several people to sleep in. Your eyes are drawn to the far wall, where a cross hangs above the bed, the articulated carving of the Christ staring down at you in accusation.
