The Great Library of Palanthas

An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Aneys.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap is at 80. You change? Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a massive tome bound in dragonskin on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Aneys' scribed in burnt brown ink.

Subject First Memories...

A dark purple and black tear
appears above the little black haired girl.
She had gone for a stroll through
the Vallenwood forest below Solace to
clear her head from her every day worries.
She had been gone for a couple
hours now and has ventured a fair distance from
home and town alike. It was
becoming a very brisk night and her pale sun dress
wasn't very good
protection from the chill. Her thoughts however kept her
oblivious to the
changes in temerature.

She couldn't get over the little boy
with short brown hair harrassing her
about having no mother and a drunk for a
father.

The little boy was the son of the town's leather worker and his
friend's
fathers were equally important. She loved her father. He was a good
man,
however when her mother died it seemed he had lost all hope in life. It
was
when her mind had wandered into memories of her mother that a loud
crackling
sound brought her to her senses. Looking upwards in the direction of
the
bizzare sound, she noticed the sky above her head being torn open in
bursts
of dark purple and sometimes black energy waves. Her black eyes opened
wide
in horror at the sight as one of the energy waves washed over her.....
