The Great Library of Palanthas

An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Aurelis.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap is at 80. You change? Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a heavy leather-bound book on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Aurelis' scribed in dark purple ink.

**Thwack**

The boy cringed as the whip connected with his back.

**Crack**

The boy winced as the paddle thumped against his rump.

**Thunk** The boy stood stoically as a wooden sword landed across his bare arms.

+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ By the tender age of 17, the young boy of Caergoth was well developed mentally and physically. His eyes shone a cold and harsh blue, a dark blue. He had been taught by his father, at a young age, the distinct line that existed between right and wrong, good and evil. There was no gray area. He had been trained to take a rough blow and to dish one out. Physical pain did not bother him. The times he felt pain came only when good people suffered at the hands of the malignant. Raised in the city of Caergoth, his father played the biggest role in his life. The man had been a squire in the Knights of Solamnia but had dreamed of so much more. He lived those dreams through his son, whom he had conditioned from birth to become a Knight of Solamnia. His hopes came to fruition as he sent his boy on a ship to Palanthas. Failure was not an option. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
