The Great Library of Palanthas

An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Carcajou.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Want color back? Turn Color Back ON!!

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a small leaflet on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Carcajou' scribed in earth-colored orange ink.

Subject a growing ogre, from the ashes

High upon the mountains, near where the trees end and the ice begins. He was
born. A small tribe he was part of, numbering in only the 30's for amounts of
ogres. His father the shaman of the tribe, for many years his father would
not reconize him as his own. It was not untill he passed the time practiced
rites of manhood that his father as all did let him carry the family name and
learn the family ways. He always knew that the magical ways of his father and
his father before him were powerful but I never knew to what extent the power
of the shaman reached. Even the largest of the warrios feared the power he
wielded. I fetched herbs and bones for him killing the creatures to grind the
powder needed for his concutions. As learned more I did, I ventured further
and further to find ingredients for spells. At times I would venture into
towns to aqquire componets and bones. I learned many years under my fathers
tutelege. As my powers grew I came to relize how much more could be done with
more knowledge, I slowly came to relize that my father was limited in what he
knew and could teach me, and my searches became more for knowledge then
anything else.
