Born out of Palanthas, Clive grew up a
disturbed boy. In his youth he
was a chunky kid and in that he grew up to be a
very plump man. Never going
outside much during the day his skin became very
pale and his eyes very
dark. As he grew up he got tired of the law abiding
citizens of palanthas
and the solamnic knights throwing their law around. He
often went to the
outskirts of palanthas to kill the farmers livestock. He
enjoyed watching
them lying within inches of death. After weeks of this practice
the farmers
came together to kill what they thought was a demon from what they
saw left
of their dead animals. He enjoyed watching them lying within inches
of
death. After weeks of this practice the farmers came together to kill
what
they thought was a demon from what they saw left of their dead animals.
They
caught him in the middle of one of his rituals. All of them ganging
together
overtook him and beat him to unconsciousness.

When Clive awoke he
found he was on a ship that had already set sail.
Bloodied and bruised he looked
around confused. Standing up he walked over
to a sailor and asked, 'Whats
going on? Where are we going? How did I get
here?' The sailor just looked at
him and pointed to a man standing near the
bow of the ship. Clive walked over to
him and the man grinned. Clive looked
at him and demanded to know what was going
on.

The man said, 'Well, well, Finally you wake up. Been out for a day now.
The
farmers you've been terrorizing were nice enough to pay for your trip
to
sanction. Guess they had enough of you.'

Clive looked confused and his
head was swimming in every direction from the
rocking of the ship. He leaned
against the rail and threw up. The captain
laughed, 'Seems like your going to
have a fun ride.' Chuckling to himself he
walked aft and into his
cabin.

Between throwing up and sleeping clive did nothing else save drink
some
water the entire journey to Sanction. Finally pilling into the harbor he
got
off and wandered the streets of Sanction happy to finally be on land.
He
made his way into a inn asking for a place to sleep. With no money
the
innkeeper he could work with his cook till he found another job.

He soon
started his rituals again, but now in Sanction he moved on from
livestock to
people and creatures wandering drunk in the alleyways of
Sanction. He would
mutilate them and listen to their wishes to stop and
spare their lives. In the
end he would always watch them die slowly, smiling
with delight as he spread
their reminds outside of Sanction in his own
private graveyard. Keeping their
finger bones and trinkets.

Soon he found herbs and other ways to poison his
victims and then heal them
only to torture them again and finally killing them
when he was done hearing
their cries for help. Wanting to know more of the ways
of the healing and
cursing he was trying to create. Wanting to know more of the
power of
destruction he stopped staying at the end and went to the Neraka to see
what
he could find.
