was working the fields the Orders' compound was attacked by
mercenaries. Cratis watched with satisfaction as the attackers
slaughtered the monks and servants. Hiding near the edge of the
forest Cratis waited until the attackers left. Whe
Cratis was in
awe of the power of the attack. While the warriors were
impressive, the real power was with the dark robed mages and the
destructive magic they used to strike men dead where they stood
and to reduce buildings to a pile of rubble and ash wit
