Subject A Way Forward

I'd suffered these fools long enough. I'd them devote themselves to inferior gods, dabble in magic, join armies and promptly desert them. They were my blood, but that's all they were at this point. I wouldn't involve myself in their affairs again. I would only see them again in death (hopefully their own). Our business in this life was at an end. One This is where we started. A formidable warrior. He was strong and his talent on the battlefield was exceptional. He lost himself amid bodies that piled up around him. This was the only place where he was comfortable. Outside of combat he was stupid, disloyal, and had no talent. Take him off the battlefield and he basically became a rock, inanimate, waiting for someone to throw him at something else. Two A mage. Reasonably talented, but cowardly. He was certainly the intelligent one. I consider myself competent and he far exceeded that. He devoted himself to his art. He also ran from his own shadow and whenever possible walled himself away and spent his days in solitary study. This was another disloyalty as far as I was concerned. Three I was the third. The youngest of the brothers. My own path was plotted through the failures of my siblings. I was a proficient fighter, but that was all, proficient. I saw honor in the battlefield, but I excellent in other pursuits. I had no aptitude for magic, but could appreciate the concentration and the force of will that truly great mages exhibited. Bending the forces of nature to dominate the lesser races was certainly appealing. I sought this sort of power for myself. As I said, the path was plotted for me, and there was truly only one way forward. I dedicated myself to the will of Sargas. I was rewarded well for my efforts and my prayers (and mace) continue to push me forward, exacting his will wherever it is required.
