Subject     The Makings of an
Apprentice

Born into the House Protector in 248 Prae
Cataclius. Hirinthas
Birchbright is the fourth child of Hirthalas
and Iniyoslui Birchbright, and
the youngest. His father was an
Archer-Lieutenant for the First Wildrunners
within the Northern
Silvanesti three older brothers, whom served under their
fathers
command within the First Wildrunners, Hirinthas was weaker,
slightly
slower and would not know the proper use of a bow and
arrow to save himself.
His mind was sharper, however. His wit was
quicker and he had no problem
putting the weaker of thought in
their place with his silvered tongue if he
had to. Unfortunately,
his weakness was his familiar downfall. Army. His
mother was a
Magus-Magistrate within the Speakers court. Unlike his
 
His
father cast him out of his home until such a time as Hirinthas
could
prove his worth to his family. His mother did not agree
with his fathers
decision and decided to work against her husband
and Lord's word. She
remained in contact with Hirinthas and
taught him to ply a trade to survive
outside of the Silvan lands.
For this, Hirinthas slowly began to read
scrolls and and brew
small potions. It was not before long that Hirinthas
found
himself producing ethereal images of small plants and creatures.
He
amused himself and passed the time with these ethereal
creations. One day,
his mother stumbled upon him in her travels
and was shocked.
 
Quietly she left him where he was and went
home, writing him a letter
explaining to him what he was destined
for, as she was a firm believer in
destiny. She explained to him
then that he was meant for the Towers. And
when he was finished
within the Towers, his father would gladly welcome him
home and
mark him within the First Arcana of the First Wildrunners
division.
And from this, Hirinthas set out and began his
independant study, what was
required and needed for him to obtain
entrance into the lowest levels of the
Towers of High Sorcery.
