The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a metal bound tome on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Iounus' scribed in glowing blue ink.

Author: Iounus
Date: Tue Nov 14 17:47:42 2006
Subject Journal of Iounus, Entry I

I stumbled out of the mountains that I had wandered in for what
seemed to
me like years. My clothes in tatters and my boots nothing but a
pair of
dreams. My life had taken a turn ever since I had met her. She
came into a
dream, offering that which I desired the most, power. She had
promised me
this power on one condition, I was to kill my father, a solamnic
noblesman.
I agonized over the decision for days finally, one night I
decided. My
logic seemed clear, ever since that chance meeting with a mage,
when it was
first revealed to my family and I that I was gifted with magic,
my father
had acted cool and aloof from me. Often times hindering me from
becoming a
mage. No matter how many times I swore to serve only Lunitari
and be a
white robe he stood in my way, finally the vengeful,
power-huyngry part of
my mind won. I crept to the armory to get a dagger, silent as a
wrath.
Once I had fetched the dagger a went to my parent's room, as I
crept up to
my father's part of the bed I hesitated, many years of him by my
side and
supporting me flashed, but they were meaningless to my twisted
mind. With a
quick slash and a slight sigh from my father it was over. Then
my mind was
consumed with a surge of remorse, choking back tears, I ran. I
ran from my
house, my home, my family.... My whole life, but she promised me
a life
anew. That night as I went to sleep she came to me again, but
this time she
wasn't cloaked in mystery, she revealed herself, Takhisis, Queen
of
Darkness. I was shocked, I woke up and as I continued onward to
Neraka, I
wept.
