Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a heavy platinum-covered book on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Irulan' scribed in dark grey ink.

Author: Irulan

Subject Irulan

Irulan, the noble wanderer. She was a child taken from her parents during a raid on their home. The young one was found wandering the dunes as a child, barely clinging on to life. A barbarian nomad tribe had found her and delivered her within the path of a hunting party of nobles charging after bandits. Found as a young child, the nobles took her in as one of their own, raising her as a daughter, as their youngest had fallen ill and passed at a young age. All of her life she trained to fight, to defend herself and others, and to survive both the ravages of nature, and the political dangers of high society. When her training started as a young adult she would sneak off to the fringes of the desert to look for signs of the family that she once had, trying to find that place that she belonged, always feeling that there was more that she was destined for. She remembered bedtime storied of a knight called Huma, and of Dragons, of a band of knights that served Honor, and the Gods of Light. Each night that passed, her dreams were filled with visions of greatness. She could swear that she was being drawn north, led to her purpose.
