Author: Khoren Date: Fri May 4 22:19:23 2007 Subject Khoreen goes to work The room is well lit, with candles hovering in the air burning at both ends. At the desk a robed figure sits, seemingly lost in thought. The figure clad in rich red robes seems to mumble to himself "The days, years, seem to be flying away.... comfortable rut". He gets up from his desk and wanders over to the fire place in his study, falling back on one of the comfortable sitting chairs with a glass of wine in his hand. If you were to take a look on the outside of this study, you would notice the plaque stating that this is Khoren the Highmaster's room. Not many apprentices or initiates visit this particular room often. Mostly because of the bad reputation the petty elf holds with the neophytes. In truth, Khoren just can't stand incompetance, and has much too high of expectations from the young mages. So on this late night, this particularly high ranked red robe mage had been writing a letter to the archmage of the red robes, asking him for permission to leave the tower at Wayreth. Khoren was getting tired of this stuffy tower, he wanted to get out and explore, search for magical artifacts, and most of all - make money. Just like in the days before the Conclave. His rationale to the Archmage was that he would be searching for valuable magical artifacts, spreading good will among the people, and looking for new talent to recruit. So now Khoren, the mage without a family name, eagerly awaits the morning when he can personally deliver the request to the Archmage. To begin a more fulfilling life. Hopefully a more financially rewarding life... Khoren is tired of living such a modest life. And Khoren can't format worth a damn ;p.
