The Great Library of Palanthas

An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Marus.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap is at 65. You change? Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a bluish black leather-bound book on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Marus' scribed in earth-colored grey ink.

Author: Marus
Date: Sun Apr 12

Subject The Prince Returns.

Marus
stands atop a hill, looking out at the fortress of Pax Tharkas.
He
was almost home. He had left quite some time ago on a quest, a
quest that he
took alongside two of his friends. A quest to find
the Lost Gods. The quest
of course was a failure, and left both
Roeis and Keonthalas dead and Marus
without an eye. It was a
somber return, but still he was happy to be so
close to home.
Things had changed since he left..He had changed. Two of
his
friends had died and he couldnt do anything about it. Their
quest led them
all across Ansalon. From the Jungles of Nordmaar
to the frigid cold of
Icewall. He sighs and pulls the hood of his
robe up over his head. He still
had a ways to go before he would
be home. He wondered what changed there. It
had been five years
or more since he had left. Thats a long time to be gone
for
anyone, much less a Prince. He starts to make his way down the
hill and
toward Pax Tharkas. He wondered how he would be taken
when he got home, with
respect or hatred. He sighs again and lets
his thoughts drift off as he
continues his walk home.
