Stories of Ansalon from the view of Moctah.

A little gully dwarf runs by and says 'Wordwrap is at 65. You change? Off 65 80.'
The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places a leather bound tome with glowing glyphs on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Moctah' scribed in grey ink.

Subject An enlightened perspective

"It has been three years now" the half elf sighed. Moctah often
siged when
there was a subject of importance on his mind. This subject
perhaps the
draining he had yet to face.

"Three years of trying to maintain a ridiculous peace between the
light
and dark living within me. This constant battle is tearing my
very soul
in two."

Pulling on his thick beard the half elf groaned in frustration.
"My 'guild'
does not do well in relation with the light, and the darkness...
she calls
to me"

Coming to an abrupt conclusion to his self examination the half
elf said,
I believe it is time to be aligned with the forces of darkness,
perhaps
even learning it's queens' point of view would do me well."

The massive doors of the keep stood before him. Impenetrable,
immovable,
stable beyond description. The gigantic grey stone walls dwarfed
the
gates which in reponse looked down upon the five foot 8 inch
half-elf.

Seeing the fear in her new companions eyes Ayasana said "You have
not
come this far to falter have you?" Moctah replied "No my lady I
have come
this far that I would learn to never falter again"

"It is strange" the half-elf said. "There was a time not so long
ago
where the light in me would have both cringed and raged at such a
sight"
The half elf paused. "But there is no light in me to repel this
glory
any longer"

Ayasana gave a solemn nod, then spoke. "It was a wise descision
for you
to leave your weaker half behind. Our queen only rewards the
strong and
there is not strength in the ways of your former god"

Moctah with an enthusiasm that had been missing for some time
responded.
"I know. That is why I am at peace now. The weakness in me would
not
allow my true self to be seen. But now I feel the absense of my
torment
strengthen me"

Ayasanas' response was cold but not suprising. "Your strength or
lack
thereof will be proven during your training. It is not wise to
boast
untill or unless you have not only endured but embraced our code.
You are
young and inexperienced, but perhaps your zeal will give you what
is
required to wear the mantle of obedience that awaits you."

With this Ayasana signaled the gate guards to let her and Moctah
though
the doors and they entered not only a new keep, but a new era of
life.
