Tarothin then went to the home of his father. He confronted Tanit and killed him. Tanit had no sons or kin, having killed them to become the Baron of Dracart. After he had wondered around Krynn for a decade, he met with Ayasana. She showed him the might of the Knights of Takhisis. Ayasana asked Tarothin what his goal was. Tarothin told her my goal is to conquer and rule over Silvenesti. The interview started as any should, introductions wear made and reasons for joining were laid bare. It was all going so well until Lady Ayasana asked him about the vision, the Blood Oath and the Code. Tarothin knew what the vision was. The vision is the Knights destiny; the Vision should be consulted if the Knight faces a difficult decision. But when asked to tell about the Vision, the Blood Oath, and the code in three words Tarothin failed miserably. Tarothin was told to come back when he had more information. Tarothin walked out of the room. He seethed; all the hours spent practicing magic, gone. Author: Tarothin Date Sat Nov 26 00:08:44 2005 Subject Tarothin's Test Tarothin was nervous there was no getting around it. Today was the day of his test to get into the Knights of Takhisis. His mentor Moonheart had told him it would be today. Moonheart had said he wouldn't know when it would happen it just would. Tarothin walked out of the gates on a mission from his mentor, to go out and get him some water. Tarothin was thinking couldn't he just get some water form the wells in Neraka. No, Moonheart had to have fresh mountain spring water. That was when he saw her. He had found Ayasana she was grievously injured. For a moment Tarothin here is my chance kill her now and I become head of the Knights. Then Tarothin remembered how little he knew of the world. He realized while ambition was needed for the Knights to survive, they would need the strong hand of Ayasana. He also realized that he doesn't really want the top position of the Knights; he just wanted control over Silvenesti. So instead of killing her Tarothin cleaned her cuts and bandaged her up. Then he carried her back to Neraka. He reached the gates there was the whoosh and he was facing the gate from the opposite way he was coming from and he didn't have Ayasana. He looked around and there was Moonheart smiling at him. Moonheart walked toward him and explained that Tarothin had just passed his test. Tarothin was well on his way to being a Knight. Moonheart asked Tarothin to explain to him again the reasons he had joined the Knights. Tarothin obliged. He had joined the Knights when he had realized the Conclave couldn't help him achieve his ultimate goal. His ultimate goal was to control Silvenesti and show them the power of dark magic. This is why Tarothin joined the Knights of Takhisis. Author: Tarothin Date Thu Dec 8 18:43:59 2005 Subject War on Kalaman: Journal of Tarothin Day of Manthas, Corij 376 P. C. After being inducted I was informed of what the Knights of Takhisis were up to. We are going to attack Kalaman. My first reaction was one of shock, I had heard rumors but to have them confirmed so suddenly in front of me was like a slap to my face. I was then told of my quest to help the war effort. I at first felt belittled by my quest. To think that my talents would be wasted doing such a menial task. Then I realized that my quest would help me toughen up so I could cast more spells more often. So I went out and bought a horse for my quest. Cheerfully, I rode out of Storms Keep not knowing what dangers awaited me. Day of Manthas, Argon 376 P. C. It has been I terrible month. I went to Solace and headed east on information given to me by the Skull Knight Shao. His directions turned out to be terribly wrong. At first everything was nice, and then I noticed that the lovely forest I was traveling in was starting to transition into a swamp. So I was then traveling through a swamp when I noticed a thick mist beginning to form around my feet. I kept going but slower, a defensive spell on my lips. When I was completely surrounded by mist, it attacked. The defensive spell saved my life. Instead of completely injecting me with its poison, the mistling's poisonous bite only grazed me. I fled for my life. Completely lost in the seemingly never ending mist I found my way to a tower. I was at a tower with soaring buttresses 1000 feet in the air and graceful towers a full 200 feet in the sky it was amazing. The very tower seemed to rival the gods. Having been searching for a place to rest a quickly went into the tower. I was in a small room bare except for a staircase going up to the higher levels of the tower. I went up the stairs. Some sixth sense told me to duck, so I did. That sixth sense saved my life for as I ducked a black shadow passed over me, I looked up and there was a HUGE spider. I quickly went back down the stairs. I then sent a message to Ryath, leader of the Knights of the Skull a message on the wings of a spell. After this I laid down to get some rest, I didn't get any rest for the poison that the mistling had injected me with was still coursing through my veins. Ryath arrived shortly after nightfall and transported me back to Storm's keep. All in all I did very well on that trip, I managed to collect 350 steel and 1751 gold. Know when any one says what do you think of the War on Kalaman, I say, "War is like magic, it is very expensive but highly profitable". Author: Tarothin Date Thu Mar 9 17:11:43 2006 Subject The Dream Shunned by all, even by those he supposed were his parents. Not even knowing his heritage, his birthright. Then one night it had all changed, all was suddenly revealed to him, the truth was revealed in all its stark ugliness. Tarothin would be changed by this night forever. He had been having a rough day when he went to sleep that fateful night. He had been approached in his dream by a strong warrior and I women who resembled his mother very closely. "Greetings Tarothin," said the warrior. "How do you know my name," inquired Tarothin while he shifted uncomfortably. "I am the goddess Takhisis and this", she pointed to the woman, "is your great-greatgrandmother Kitiara uth Matar." "My g-great-greatgrandmother," stammered Tarothin. "Yes you are my great-greatgrandson Tarothin", said Kitiara," and I have an important task for you". "What is this task," Tarothin questioned. "You are to", she smiled, "worship Takhisis and spread her wrath to the elves." "Takhisis stepped forward," Yes as a member of House uth Matar you are expected to worship me and if you don't woe be unto you and your descendents." Never having worshipped a god or goddes beyond the muttered prayer when the going got rough, Tarothin found it hard to grasp the concept of a god controlling his life. Deciding that he had nothing to lose and everything to gain he bowed down to Takhisis, " I will worship you, My queen." "You were originally born there my great-greatgrandson," Kitiara said, "You are the greatgrandson of Steel my beloveded son. Your father was his grandson, he raped a Silvenesti women durring a raid by the mercanary band he was with into Silvenesti. They kept you and raised you as their own, but they never upheld you mother's last request. Now your Queen Takhisis has a task for you that you must complete." "I want you to go and bring my wrath down on the Silvanesti elves," Takhisis continued, "You mothers spirit has told me she wants revenge for what the Silvenesti did to her, you are to complete this task," Takhisis elaborated further, "in order to complete this task you are to seek out the Knights of Takhisis, further train yourself, and join their ranks." "Their leader Ayasana is my great niece, you are to seek her out and give her this," Kitaira unbuckled her sword and gave it to him, "to prove you are my descendent. Now go my great-greatgrandson and fulfill you task," Kitiara faded out of view. "Fulfill your task and I will reward you greatly," Takhisis said. With a start Tarothin woke up, "I will, my Queen."
