Dear Mother and Father, I suppose it was never a suprise to you that I would one day take up the mantle of Branchala. Through the many years of childhood I was always taken with the music that flows through all of our souls. I imagine that you thought I would use my favour with Branchala to listen to the sweet birds sing and share their songs with my Silvanesti brethern. But the song of Branchala spreads further than the span of Silvanost. So I write, to tell you that I have left. I will sing the songs, play the melodies, and tell the stories that will spread the good news. In the name of Branchala I will heal the injured, I will fight those who would try to stamp out that most glorious song that binds us all together in the name of good. So I invoke the name of Branchala on the highest, to give me strength protection, and understanding, that I may better love and spread that eternal song that flows into mortal soulds. Mother, Father, I love you. I hope that when you think of me, you will do so with pride. One day I shall seek to return and help to heal Silvanesti as I try to heal the rest of Ansalon. Until we meet again, may your path be brown and golden, your water sweet and pure, Tobiathanthalas
