An Aesthetic shows you to a small reading room.

Stories of Ansalon from the view of Zieg.

The gully continues 'Eyes hurt? Turn Color OFF!! (regular story dates)

Astinus says 'Enter the main library here to view only the author list.'
Astinus gently places an elegant book bound in elf-skin on the table in front of you.
You note the spine bears the word 'Zieg' scribed in purple ink.

Author: Zieg
Date: Wed Jun 10

Subject History of Zieg

Born to a
family that barely makes enough to put food on the table,
Zieg
was a smart child. During his early teachings, he excelled
with knowledge,
but was too physically weak to really do anything
with the rest of the kids
his age. By the age of 10, a traveller
was passing by his village just in
time to watch Zieg being
beaten by the other kids. This traveller saved Zieg
and told him
that there were ways to protect himself, as well as harm
others,
without having physical strength. It was then Zieg had been set
upon
the path of becoming a Mage. He had run away from home to go
along with the
traveller and learn about magic. He had learned a
great deal about the
Conclave as well as a a few spells over the
years before the traveller was
killed by thieves. With his
knowledge of the Conclave and few spells, Zieg
wishes to one day
be accepted as a mage in the Conclave.
