In Sharl's Weaving Storage, 'ask sharl about techniques' to receive a quest for learning how to tailor.
She asks for an onyx pearl, a spool of silver thread, and a hide from a sewer crock.
Asking about onyx reveals the pearls come from the clams in the river.
Asking about thread reveals her friend Karn supplies it if you 'ask Karl about thread'.
Asking about crock reveals there are large crocodiles in the tunnels beneath the streets of Haven.
In the Blackrock Bakery's Back Room:
'ask baker about flour' to learn they need a sack of flour to make honey cakes.
'ask baker about mill' to learn flour can be found near the Mill District west of the Farmers Gate.
'ask baker about honey cakes' to learn all the nobles love their honey cakes.
Fetching the flour from the south end of the city and giving it to the baker will reward you with a special honey cake.
