This area is part of the Thorbardin region and is intended for levels 1 to 101.
Thorbardin Core appears to be the main hub for getting to Thorbardin's various subcities, as well as connecting to other regions like Hopeful Vale or the Valley of Thanes. Be aware that access to the core Hall of Justice, Garden and Temple of Stars areas is controlled by three drawbridges. The only way to control the drawbridges manually lies in getting to one of the two Drawbridge Control Rooms and disposing of the guard (who will otherwise bruise you if you try to flip the switch while he's still alive). These drawbridges otherwise operate on a schedule. If you come here and find the way forward blocked by a raised drawbridge, wait some minutes and they'll eventually lower.
Cable cars can be used by simply saying 'load' in any room they are in (except for the two broken ones up north by the Valley of Thanes). They don't go far so there doesn't seem to be much point to them but they're there.
Access to the Court of Thanes appears to be gated by a Court Guard, who automatically lets dwarves in. Unconfirmed how he reacts to anyone else.
There are two elevators in this area, each of which will take you somewhere else in Thorbardin Core if you say 'load'.
- The first is the King's Shaft, which leads up to a four room Amphitheatre. It has nice room descriptions including thrones, but there are no mobs nor objects to interact with up there.
- The second is the Great Hall Dungeon, which leads down to a room with no exits. Although the room description mentions doors to the north, there are no doors to interact with. Only two elite guards stand here, which can presumably be fought and killed for their gear. The only way out is to say 'load' again.

Notice: Thorbardin Core's Sixth Road appears to be wholly disconnected from the main level. Beyond its two shops and quick transit to the Three Moons Transport Company portals, it's only purpose appears to be to link the Urkhan Sea and the Western Warrens together.
Notice: Thorbardin Core's Eight Road is likewise disconnected. Other than its cable cars, it's sole purpose appears to be to link the Urkhan Sea to the Valley of Thanes.

Notice: There are 'a tiny spider on the ground' mobs throughout Thorbardin core. They are invisible (requiring detect hidden to spot) and don't appear to be interactable. Don't try gating to them or you'll end up in Hybardin.
