Subject Removing some wear slots
We have removed the "about the body", "face" wear slots, as well as the
secondary slot for both neck and wrists (meaning, there is only one item
wearable on your wrists and neck now).
This is neccesary for an upcoming change to the way that armor class works
and the pain will be worth it, we promise. :)
Items for the face and about hang on to for now, some of them may or may not
get wear slot changes in the near/far future.

The sealskin airpouch has been moved to the head wearslot instead of face due to face being removed.

Subject re: wear slots
Items that have the "face" wear slot will now be worn on your head, and
items that have the "about" wear slot will now be worn on your shoulders.
So, no need to ditch your old gear just wear it once then compare it with
what you had in the new slot.

Subject Newbie Hints & Plague
I have added a new toggle, which is on by default when you create a new
character, called "newbiehints". The purpose of this will be to provide
hints and suggestions around certain situations to players who need it, but
not to spam out players who do not need the help.
The first such hint is now tied into plague. If you have newbie hints turned
on you will now receive a message letting you know that plague reduces
movement points every tick and that you should see a healer ASAP.

Subject Player Files
We're archiving all old player files, meaning like if you haven't played in say 90 days etc.
No worries though!!!
If you go to log in, it will simply de-archive your character and you can play.
It's more a behind-the-scenes file tracking thing. Keeps us sane :D

Subject PFiles De-archiving automagically etc. - Imms Note
Simply put, the pfile de-archiver works like this:
If it can't find your character when you go to log in, it looks in backups,
If it finds it, it moves it to active players.
Seemless, players never see it happen. Keeps our activelist actually active.
Let me know how long you want inactives to sit in the pfile directory?
I'm thinking 3 months, after that it archives? Maybe have it check like once per day.

If you use it, it now archives players over 150 days unplayed.
Per the previous change, if they then go to log-in, they are de-archived automatically.
This will NOT archive immortals (the 21 gods).

Subject BUGS squishified
There was a bug with Newbie hints going to NPCs
(The get to a healer plague one),
code was trying to access structure that NPCs don't have.
I slapped it around a bit.
Also a 'crowd brawl' bug when a victim wasn't there.

Subject AutoEXIT - Clickable
Autoexit (what you see when moving) now has more!
This only affects players with MXP enabled clients
(ie MushClient/Newer clients)
You'll notice the word Exits is now underlined.
Simple, it does 'exits' for a full description when clicked.
Exits: (door) [LOCKED door] <- Last one is new
Now exits have pull-down menus depending of if they are:
a door, closed, locked etc.
You can open/close/pick/listen/knock.. and of course just 'walk'

Subject Clickables (MXP)
If you have MXP with your client (IE. MushClient & Zmud, a few others)
You'll now have more clickables. Unread/note list/note reading etc. To see
if (if you have MXP), type unread, or note list. You can click on the
numbers. Also, you will have a Previous/Next link to click (if anyone has
better formatting lmk).

Now as they post you can just click on the link and read the new ones (if
you have MXP, ie Mushclient or Zmud). And... sheepish grin here... the <
prev/next > arrows now work as originally intended :p.

It be working correctly now :p You do NOT have to eat, but if you are
full it does give you a slight bonus to healing rate.
Also, you now DO heal while resting or sleeping, regardless of full/hunger etc.

Subject Clickable stuff
Your NESW in your prompts are clickable now. If the door is close (nesw)
it will be 'open' that direction. Also, if you need to stand for something
or wake etc? It's a clickable link as well.
Ps. This all requires MXP which is available on the Ansalon MushClient (or just Mushclient) as well as Zmud, and NOW... Mudportal.com/index.php/play?host=ansalonmud.net&port=8679

Milk (and OJ etc), now relieve hunger again, although drinking doesn't
give a healing buff, it does allow your character to heal a bit faster (as
if you had eaten). Yadda yadda, milk works again :)

Subject Login etc
It now lets you know how long it's been since you've played (if it's been
over a week), just helpful to know :).
But the real one handy to players is that if it backs up your character? (ie
if you're over level 25, have lots of hours etc it saves a copy).. now it
renames it yourname_bak, so you can recreate without the help of an imp.

Made minor changes to the Vingaard area and Knights High Road. Mostly
just reconnected things to make a little more sense.

Minor changes to the Thelgaard and Caergoth area. Merc and Wanderlust
halls adjusted slightly, some layouts changed to flow better and make more

Expanded my repathing out through Throtyl, Neraka, and into Sanction.
Walking from Neraka to Sanction will now require west through the green
quarter. South from Neraka still leads to Bloten and the Plains of Dust.

Inak, the Palanthian Palace mage... Now offers the spell fireproof, as
well as permanently fireproofing (for an exorbitant fee :P) items. To use:
- . You can add 'price' or 'cost' to see how
much, or 'permanently/perm/forever' to make it permanent.

Inak (yeah again), the Palanthian Palace mage... Now offers to preserve
scrolls, pills and food that are 'rotting'. Ever get tired of your rat turds

Subject TMTC Palace Mages
Every Three Moons Transport Co mage is now also a "Palace Mage" and can
perform the same services. Now you can fireproof, preserve, and any other
