Kender
Kender are small, energetic wanderers rarely standing more than 4 feet tall. Known for their pointed ears, topknots, and endless curiosity, kender live to explore the unknown. Their colorful clothing is covered in pouches filled with interesting trinkets collected during their travels… though what other races call “borrowing,” kender simply call “finding.”
Naturally agile and quick, kender excel with thrown weapons, especially the iconic hoopak, which serves as both a walking staff and a weapon. Their greatest gift, however, is their legendary fearlessness. Where others hesitate before dragons, undead, or ancient evils, kender press forward with curiosity and optimism.
Despite their playful nature, kender are fiercely loyal friends who never abandon those they care about. Players choosing a kender gain a unique race that combines agility, ranged combat, and unmatched courage, making them some of the most adventurous explorers in all of Ansalon.
